Come ride the train

Welcome to the Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum located here at 5202 Zoo Dr, Los Angeles, CA. Live Steamers in a non profit, public benefit orginatiton and only operate for a few hours every Sunday from 11AM to 3PM. Founded by a group of train enthusiasts, we educate the public in railroad history and show live steam, gas-mechanical and electric railroad technology in actual operation. All riders must be 34" inches tall to ride and weigh less than 350 lbs. Handicapped riders will be transfered to a straddle-type riding car and must able to sit up right for 20 minutes. As you walk through our facility, most everything you see, including the trains, were built by our members. As you enjoy your ride through the park, you’ll notice 3 miniature towns and many other buildings and displays.
